Warehouse Manager

MIDWEST - Universal Cycles, a leading U.S. web based bicycle retailer, is seeking a Warehouse manager for our Midwest warehouse. Responsibilities include:

*Stocking and picking inventory
*Packaging orders accurately and safely for transportation
*Manage and maintain shipping and receiving processes and procedures to promote Company objectives
*Assessing, managing, and maintaining shipping supplies on hand
*Manage and update orders and backorders
*Maintain a clean, well organized, and efficient warehouse
*Train staff as needed and delegate responsibilities
*Work with other Managers in Portland for growth facilitation

Requirements:

*Must have at least 3 years prior bicycle industry experience
*Must have at least 3 years prior experience in warehouse environment
*Must have reliable transportation
*Ability to work in fast paced environment
*Flexibility to handle many different tasks
*Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
*Willing to work extra hours when needed
*Prioritize work in a fast, multi task situation
*Strong time management skills
*Possess and demonstrate self motivation
*Maintain and promote attention to detail
*Able to work mostly without supervision, but coordinate effectively with Portland warehouse
*Demonstrate a track record of improving accuracy, productivity, and efficiency
*Execute effective verbal and written skills
*Show confident and knowledgeable computer skills
*Minimum 2 year commitment
