Sales/Customer Support Lead

EMERYVILLE CA - Fast growing bicycle design and manufacturing company seeks individual to assist with: sales, customer support, project management, personnel management, and scheduling. This role is the brain of the fulfillment process for us and key to keeping our customers psyched.- as such you have experience ideally in some/all of the following: managing warehouse personnel, providing sales and tech support to customers, as well as project management skills.

You’re great in customer/team interface, organization, multitasking and building systems to support growth. We’re a small, high energy, values driven team that requires your passion, enthusiam and drive to help us fulfill on our goals for next year and beyond.

You are indispensable in these areas:

Customer Support – meet customers needs by addressing sales questions, and handle basic tech support .Building knowledge in house by providing a seamless capture of relevant data from phone calls and emails, and publishing to relevant parties.

Sales - field incoming sales inquiries, successfully direct customers to products to enhance their lifestyle. No hard-sellers, please. Successful sales people will act more like consultants than traditional sales people. Very clear orientation towards service and finding the right home for the right product is key. (NO soft sellers either – healthy sales energy a must).

Management - ability to manage warehouse personnel, work tightly with Xtracycle automation team to improve work flow, total comfort with hiring/firing/creating meaningful and sustainable incentives and feedback to those under you.

Goal and Outcome Driven - comfort with setting and achieving goals. Ability to derive support from within the organization and from within your own network to achieve on these goals.

You have a teammate:
Bookkeeper, AP, AR, controller, distributor and retailer sales manager.

You will oversee:
Warehouse/Shipping Personnel – you will do this work initially to have complete understanding of the shipping process – will be comfortable improving work flow in this area.
