This student Bike Tech will work from the main floor workshop of the Coop Workshop’s 2200 square feet of workshops, studios, social and presentation space. Principle duties will include 1) Design, delivery & management of two Coop Member bike fleets. The City Slicker Fleet is a fleet of 12 new Brodie Bikes; and the second fleet of bikes will be assembled from refurbished bikes. 2) Coordination of deliver of City Slicker bikes to Couloir Bike & Ski for maintenance 3) Maintenance of refurbished fleet 4) Delivery of instructional workshops on bicycle maintenance and Chopper Bike Creation. 5) Design of alternative technologies (bicycle-powered food processors, bike trailers). 6) Workshop mainteance.
